Storyteller + Strategic Communications Pro | PRSA “Best in Maryland” Winner

Lover of people & the stories that bring us together.

a L I T T L E more about me…

Hi there, I’m Ellina!

I lead strategic PR initiatives for nonprofit, government, education, professional services, and real estate clients — with a strong focus on social impact. I really love stories, both hearing and telling them. Most of all, I love how they connect us.

Day-to-day, I manage media relations programs, develops communications plans, and create high-impact content to drive visibility and growth. I secure top-tier media coverage for clients and have landed interviews/placements in outlets including POLITICO, ESPN, Bloomberg, Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Business Insider, FOX Business, and Barron’s. I’m also passionate about leveraging social influencer marketing as a key PR tactic, and have secured key partnerships with influencers including Salary Transparent Street and Miss Cosmos.

Notably, I’ve led a PRSA Award-winning media campaign for Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences on the healthcare workforce crisis. Some key clients in my portfolio include the Maryland Department of Commerce, Baltimore Community Foundation, Baltimore School for the Arts, Civic Works, Modjeski & Masters, Howard Bank, GardaWorld, STX, and The Bainbridge Companies.

Before jumping into PR full-time, I wrote marketing content for MLB’s Baltimore Orioles and bylined articles for Baltimore magazine. A Towson University honors graduate in journalism, my capstone project on the shortage of Millennial farmers was republished by influencer @solutionsjournalism, which advocates for rigorous reporting on how people are responding to social problems.

Outside of work, I have volunteered with local churches, homeless organizations, urban youth programs, and ESL learning communities. Whether on or off the clock, I really hope to make a difference in my world.
